Every year people make resolutions at this time. Among the favourites are losing weight, getting fit, earning more money, spending more time with family, de-cluttering……At a deeper level, people experience new hope at the start of a new year.

This video was produced by the young people of the Focolare in Northern Ireland. Conleth – one of the makers writes: “sometimes our words are not enough – after all a picture says a thousand words!” The video tries to explain what a Mariapolis (the summer gathering of the Focolare) is. St. Patrick’s weekend 2014: Young people from Word of Life groups in Belfast, Dublin and from University College Dublin made their way to the ‘Centre for Unity’ in Welwyn Garden City, on the outskirts of London, for the annual Focolare Regenerate event
