An opening prayer in Arabic from Motaz from Gaza, set the tone for Focolare’s annual Spring Gathering in Dungarvan, (4th 7th April 2024) – an openness to all, a desire for peace and unity, a determination to answer the cries of humanity.

The Focolare Movement in Italy has joined with Catholic Action, Christian Workers, Pope John 23rd Community and Pax Christi to start 2024 with a strong appeal to the Italian Government and Parliament to advocate for an immediate ceasefire in the Middle East. The massacre of innocents must absolutely be stopped. Politics and diplomacy must return with determination to being the means for resolving international disputes.
A representative group from all over Ireland took part in the “Spring Gathering”. The THEME was:
